At Chapel of the Redeemer, our mission is simple yet profound: to receive the gifts of God in Word and Sacrament, and to reflect His love to our neighbors in Queens and beyond.
We value biblical teaching that is faithful to the historic Christian confessions, worship that honors God's holiness, and a community life where burdens are shared, prayers are offered, and joy is multiplied.

Our History
Planted in the early 1940s, Chapel of the Redeemer has been a continuous spiritual home through decades of change in Hollis Hills.
What began as a small gathering of faithful Lutheran families has grown into a diverse congregation reflecting the beautiful tapestry of Queens. While our neighborhood has evolved, the truth we proclaim remains the same.
